The COVID-19 Pandemic has offered MAKOBO the structuring challenge of being increasingly closer to those who, due to their social condition, are more exposed to the impacts of the worsening economic and social difficulties, and, at the same time, the challenge of becoming a social support institution. progressively autonomous and self-sufficient.<\/p>

The Co-manager of Jardim Municipal Nangade (Former Garden Dona Berta), on Av. Vladimir Lenine, in Maputo, in partnership with MAKOBO, debuts the concept The BLACK & WHITE by MAKOBO, thinking, as always, of boosting the economy and local content, and the impact of social entrepreneurship, as a way to promote more economic and social development, inclusion and sustainability in Mozambique.<\/p>

These are TWO DIFFERENT COMMERCIAL SPACES, united by the same ideal\u2026 MOZAMBIQUE.<\/i><\/b>.<\/p>

WHITE Space<\/b><\/span><\/p>

The WHITE Space is completely white, neutral. It is a \u201cPOP-UP STORE\u201d, which will be available to Mozambican entrepreneurs who want to disseminate, expose, propose, promote their ideas, projects, and environmentally sustainable products with social impact, not having, in addition to social networks, a place where they can physically interact with their target audience.<\/p>

For a week, the space will be available to the entrepreneur, so that he can make it his own: live it, show yourself, sell yourself, dazzle... FALL IN LOVE, CREATE, GROW and PROSPER.<\/p>

BLACK Space<\/b><\/span><\/p>

The BLACK Space is black. The walls are slate black, to allow space users to use them to write and draw their desires, dreams and visions about Mozambique.<\/p>

In the BLACK store, MAKOBO will promote 100% MOZAMBICAN products with social impact: Products from social, community projects that add value, as well as contribute to the promotion of social, cultural and environmental causes, for the appreciation and preservation of our traditional knowledge.<\/p>

Because we are aware that this is the time to build a new Mozambique TOGETHER, and that many have been and continue to be affected by the slowdown in our economy, this is our humble contribution to a Mozambique of the Future.
